The International Hellenic University is committed to providing high quality education and to implementing the highest standards of quality.
The University’s quality assurance framework adheres to the standards, guidelines, processes and procedures for quality assurance set out by the Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQA), by Law No 3374/2005 and Law 4009/2011 which allow institutions to develop, manage and enhance the quality of their work at all levels.
As prescribed by Law No 3374/2005, the evaluation process implemented at the International Hellenic University comprises two stages:
- Self-Evaluation Stage: the first stage of the evaluation process involves the internal self-evaluation of the work of the academic unit ("School") in relation to its mission, objectives and profile and culminates with the submission of the Internal Evaluation Report to the HQA.
- External Evaluation Stage: the second and final stage of the evaluation process consists of the evaluation of the work of the School by a committee of independent experts which takes into account the outcomes and findings of the Internal Evaluation Report. The external evaluation stage ends with the submission of the External Evaluation Report.
